Stakeholder survey
Feedback updated 15 Oct 2025
We asked
We asked organisations and individuals working in this field to tell us about your experiences, challenges, and priorities. We wanted your views on what’s working, where support is needed, and where we should focus our attention going forward.
You said
You told us that many of you face similar obstacles—such as limited resources, regulatory complexity, and a need for clearer coordination across different stakeholders. You asked for more targeted support, better data sharing, enhanced communication of policy changes, and stronger collaboration among partners. You also expressed a desire for regular updates on how stakeholder input is being used and for more opportunities to influence decision-making directly.
We did
In response to your feedback, we are committing to the following actions:
-

Targeted support & resources: We will design interventions aimed at your most-frequently cited challenges—such as pilot funding schemes, guidance toolkits, or capacity-building workshops.
 -

Data & transparency: We’ll improve data-sharing mechanisms (where confidentiality allows) and publish summaries of evidence gathered, so you can see the common trends and insights.
 -

Policy communication & coordination: We will establish clearer channels for announcing policy updates and changes, and work to strengthen cross-sector and cross-partner coordination.
 -

Ongoing engagement & accountability: We will publish regular reports on how your responses have been used in decisions or plans. We will also plan further engagement events or co-design opportunities so that stakeholders continue to have direct influence.

Thank you to everyone who took part. Your expertise is vital in making sure our next steps are practical, useful, and responsive to the real issues on the ground.
Overview
We want to hear from you because your experience and expertise help us make better, more practical decisions. This survey gathers evidence from organisations and individuals working in the field so we can identify common challenges, test potential actions, and prioritise the next steps that will have the greatest positive impact. Your responses will be analysed and used to inform our recommendations, design any targeted interventions, and shape future engagement with sector partners. Responses will be treated confidentially; if you agree to be contacted for follow-up we will only use the details you provide with your consent.
